Sometimes, a computer might fail to recognize a USB device when plugged in.

Idea
Solution:

Restart the computer. A simple restart can often resolve temporary glitches and IT issues that might prevent USB device detection.
Try a different USB port. Not all USB ports provide the same level of power or bandwidth, which is one of the common technical issues users encounter. Test the device in a different USB port on the computer.
Check the USB on another PC, it’s possible that the USB itself may be faulty
